Data deletion instructions
You can request deletion of your Msgera account and data associated with connected Meta and WhatsApp services.
1. Disconnect Meta or WhatsApp access
To stop Msgera from accessing a connected WhatsApp Business Account, first disconnect the account from the WhatsApp Accounts page in your Msgera dashboard.
You can also remove Msgera from your Meta Business Integrations settings. Removing the integration revokes future access but does not by itself delete information already stored in your Msgera account.
2. Submit a deletion request
Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your Msgera account. Use the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
Include your account email, account or business name, and—if applicable—the connected WhatsApp Business Account ID or phone number ID. Never send us your password, verification code, Meta app secret, or access token.
3. Verification and processing
We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. After verification, we will acknowledge the request and provide a confirmation when deletion is complete.
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Complex requests or applicable legal requirements may require additional time, and we will notify you if that happens.
4. Information deleted
Deletion includes the requested Msgera account data, encrypted Meta access credentials, connected WhatsApp account metadata, contacts, messages, campaigns, automation data, and associated integration records under our control.
Some billing, fraud-prevention, security, or legal records may be retained for the period required by law or legitimate compliance obligations. Where practical, retained records are minimized or anonymized and are not used for marketing.
